From Monday the 4th of December 2017 driving test will include a section in which you will be asked to follow the direction from the sat nav, one in five tests will still follow the same routine as before and you will be expected to drive independently by following,
—–directions
—–traffic signs
—–or a combination of both.
The independent driving part will increase to 20 minutes and you will either be following Sat Nav or directions by the examiner as stated above. Examiner will bring and set up Sat Nav and in about half the time in the test you will be following it.
Don’t w0rry if you go off the route or forget the directions, the examiner will hopefully help you.
You will not fail for going off the route unless you make driving faults, so instead of left if you go right it is not a failure.
